Begun 2008 under the leadership of Sanford Winer, the Chattanooga Jewish Film Series has become a highly attended annual event. Corporate and community sponsors enable the series to be brought to the public for $12.00 per screening, which includes popcorn and a soft drink. The goal of the series is to bring the best quality Jewish-themed films to Chattanooga and introduce people to the Jewish Cultural Center. Committee members include Sanford Winer, Richard Zachary, Sheila St. Aubin, Frank Miller (chair), Beth Lowe, Ann Treadwell and Stephen Black. The Chattanooga Jewish Documentary Film Series is an outgrowth of the Chattanooga Jewish Film Series, to answer our community's request for a winter series.  In 2018 Dr. Frank Miller stepped up to act as first time chair of the series.  The Documentary Film Series Committee is made up of Sheila St. Aubin, Stephen Black (chair), Beth Lowe, Richard Zachary, Sanford Winer, and Frank Miller, all of whom view over two dozen films to select the final four.
